An eye-opening stroll through Tribeca – the triangle below Canal Street. This means we will be examining the history around Granby Row, Charles Street, the Mancunian Way and Little Ireland, evoking the ghosts of the Plug Plot rioters, Brigham Young and the original Mormons, Chaim Weizmann, Friedrich Engels, and not least of all that Lass O’Lowrie’s!
Indeed we begin at the very pub, the Lass O’Gowrie, on Charles Street. This will be part of a series of “Off the Beaten Track in Manchester” walks, this being No. 1.
